Impact of Domain Price Hike
Published by andrew.a | Filed under Domains | On October 11th, 2007
With The Great Renewal Bash concluding soon, this is your last opportunity to Renew and Transfer in your Domains at rock bottom prices. With the prices increasing after the promotion, it makes most sense to Renew your Domains now for the maximum tenure and Save Big. Never again are the prices for gTLDs going to be this low!
The Great Renewal Bash ends on 12th October, 2007 at 1230 GMT, immediately after which the New Pricing will be effective. Hence, we suggest that you change your pricing in advance to avoid any losses.
Impact of the Price Change:
The price hike will also impact any pending order in the system in the following manner:
- All Pending Orders for Domain Registration and Renewals in the system will be cancelled throughout your entire Reseller chain.
- Orders that are created on an earlier date and are still pending, might be so primarily due to insufficient funds in either your Reseller Account or any other account in your chain. All these orders that are locked in processing will be cancelled in the system.
Reason for the above:
You, as a Reseller, will be charged according to the new increased pricing after ‘The Great Renewal Bash’ period. Yet all pending orders placed during the promo period will have a Customer invoice of the promo/regular pricing associated with it. This would result in you incurring a loss (of the difference amount) on every pending transaction that is executed after the promotion period.
Ideal plan of action:
- It would be advisable to execute all pending orders before 12th October, 2007.
- Any pending order that gets deleted by the system, can be placed again by you, from 13th October, 2007 onwards.
We hope you have made the most of this promotion; if not, this is your last chance to SAVE!

I expected a downfall in the tld registration pricing but this time again the pricing has increased, though iam happy that the .in reg fees has come down heavily.

Hello,
I was always wondering, how can I get the same domain name pricing that estdomains has (suppose they are ressellers of Resellerclub?).

i don’t know why ICANN increased its fee, anyway I’m ok with that, since I have some powerful plan in my mind and it will boost my ROI quite heavily…
